beatitude
Thank you for praying for us, phamily. The friend whom I argued with is still very upset and in a great deal of pain (more than I realised) but he is talking to me in a less hostile way now, and deleted the Facebook status he made about our fight. I hope this means that he will be ready to make peace soon. I offered a phone conversation this evening, but he said he's not ready. Right now we're talking only over chat. I am also hurt, but his pain is a lot more serious, and he isn't coping well at college in his everyday life. Thankfully God has been a huge comfort to me in prayer. This has made me see that there may be some underlying difficulties here for him that I haven't responded to sensitively. I think reconciliation will be uphill work, given the amount of pain he's in - please pray that God makes it easy for us and blesses us with his comforting and peaceful presence. Please pray that the loving Spirit gives us each the right words to say, and receptive ears for hearing, and hearts that want to forgive and be forgiven. Pray that the blood of Christ may restore our friendship and that it will be a source of love, comfort, trust, faith, and healing to us both. Also, please pray for him to have a good night's sleep, a better day of classes. Our Lady of the Snows, pray for us. God bless all of you for supporting me through this in prayer. I have felt the difference and I am praying for you too.
