Each year, our community takes an extra 5-day retreat during Advent to spend more time in solitude and prayer to prepare for the coming of our Infant King.  You're all in our prayers.

I'm trying to do a little bit of 'preparing' each day -- kind of doing housework while talking to our Lady.    And making a special point to just remember the season and celebrate it... without getting distracted by the dithery craziness of the 'pre christmas' season that the secular world tries to foist off on us as 'preparation'.  ADVENT is very different.

 

This week I will start the Advent Novena--we learned last year it makes more sense to do it EARLIER in the season rather than right before Christmas.  So... stay tuned!
