Tony
It was also Thanksgivukkah. One of the VERY rare times Thanksgiving and Hanukkah fall on the same day!
inunionwithrome
I was just going to say, Is it not interesting that Thanksgiving and Chanukkah fell together this year? For the Maccabees were truly Grateful for having fought King Antiochus and his armies winning the "Eternal LIght"
Seven77
Its always great to reflect on the deep spiritual significance of Hanukkah… Christ is the Light that shines in the darkness, the “Eternal Light," that illuminates every heart. I think about that line from that Christmas Carol, “O Little town of Bethlehem,†that mentions the “Everlasting Light." Advent is all about getting ready to welcome the Light into our temples... may He come and shine in them forever!
