I'm leaving for nearly a week. I need people to help me remember what I should bring. Clothes, toothbrushes, deodorant, things like that are obvious. I'm trying to make sure I don't forget something crucial.

Acetaminophen or ibuprofen is the kind of thing that you probably will not think about until you need it, and then you will really really need it. At least that is how it is for me. I usually keep a little bottle of Tylenol in my bag when I go anywhere. Came in handy a few times.

I don't normally get headaches. Other people might, though, and it would be handy to have it if they need it.

no kidding: almost every overnight trip I've been on, i've forgotten either my deodorant or my toothpaste. not things you want to forget, either. emergency trips to target are made. LOL

I usually like to bring my breviary (or prayer book), and headphones, and ipod and charger cord.

what about nail clippers? those are always useful. :)

I always take ear plugs and eye shades. Hotels or long bus rides can be noisy, and sometimes curtains don't keep parking lot lights out.

Haha, thanks, but I sleep like a rock under any conditions. I actually like sleeping around noise and light, believe it or not.

I get headaches with quick pressure changes, so sometimes I will get three or four headaches in a week, other times I will go months without.

Bring one more change of clothes than you think you'll need. If you're flying, keep that change of clothes in your carry on (if you check a bag). I once got all the way to Munich only to find out that my checked bag was still in Oregon, and had to get by for three days until it got where I was staying.  So it's a good idea to bring an extra outfit, you don't know what could happen.

Painkillers, a couple bandaids, decongestant pills (I have terrible sinuses), and Dramamine pills if you get carsick.

Check the weather of your destination a few times to make sure you're packing the right jacket and stuff. If you aren't already, pack a nice outfit - again, just in case.

It's on a bus, which is pretty exciting since we'll be driving a very long way. :P

Being the amateur weatherman I am (I love the science of weather), I checked the weather a long time ago. :P It's supposed to be cold and rainy, which is awesome because I love that weather the most.

Oh my goodness, I love those pillows!

And definitely. I plan to buy jerkey, as jerkey is one of my most favorite foods ever.

Oh! Bring a pillow or blanket or something if it's going to be overnight. It can get pretty cold on a bus.

We're leaving at 11:45 and won't get there until the afternoon. The forecast for Indianapolis is around 45 degrees, and it's supposed to rain, so a blanket won't hurt anything.
