miserere55
Thanks for the information on Venerable Pio Alberto Del Corona, OP!!! I love the Saints and always rejoice in the new ones. On the same thought, the Carmelite Order will have a new Saint in the next few weeks also............Pope John Paul II was a secular Carmelite. (So, for all those discerning the diocesan priesthood, you can still belong to one of the Great Orders as a member of the third order). A book that I read a little bit of every day is called, "John Paul II's Book of Saints." It has a short biography on all of the people he canonized(482) and beatified (1338) during his papacy. Many are the Founders and Foundresses of the religious orders that many of us are considering joining. Excellent reading. Oh, and not to leave Pope John XXIII out, his autobiography is excellent reading too - "journal of a Soul. Thanks for sharing!! I will add venerable Pio to my own personal litany of the saints.
