PhuturePriest
I had good intentions  The road to hell was paved with good intentions. Incidentally, so was the road to utter failure at life. Edited November 17, 2013 by FuturePriest387
Winchester
The road to hell was paved with good intentions. Always hated that saying. Not remotely Christian.
NotreDame
It's almost impossible to find silent places to pray nowadays. Even in adoration there is always somebody making noise.

KenW
Kinda disappointing to see this thread, since JMT's testimony on CBN in the 80's was a MAJOR seed planted in me. When I shook the dust off of my feet from the evangelical/charismatic circles I had been running around in back in the 80's, JMT's "The Lord's Supper" on vinyl was my one and only church service on Sunday mornings. But....whatever..........I love the guy.....I listen to him often...........message him on FB from time to time.............I'm inclined to think that anything that goes against the grain of orthopraxis is the doing of the individual parish and not of JMT himself...but even if it IS the doing of John, I know firsthand how hard it is, even impossible, for a troubadour of the Lord to make it from one town to the next without some help
