Well its my observation and logical conclusion that its ok.

Well, it would be nice if things like paprika always had to be listed instead of just lumped into "spices" on a label. Says the person with nightshade issues who can't have paprika. So I just avoid anything that says "and spices" and make it myself, which is probably better anyway.

yeah some of those "and spices" can be really difficult. A former neighbor of ours had a little girl who was allergic to garlic and I believe onions. It was so bad that a couple of times she accidentally ate some they had to call an ambulance.

I want my food label to have a number, between 1 and Bacon, that describes how delicious it is. Lima beans would be an exception to this label rule, and would be marked -3.

And turnips would be labeled with a haz mat sticker
