Pontifite 7 of 10
I watched this movie with my friend once. She was cracking up. I didn't really get the humor in it. I just looked at her, straight up, and was like, "Yeah keep laughing, this is Jesus's greatest victory." And she was all like, "He's getting the shit beat out of him!" There are two kinds of people. Ed Normile
Entertainment, well it certainly fulfills the definition of entertainment. " performance or exhibition: something that is produced or performed for an audience " I enjoyed the movie, it was a great meditation on his passion and death. ed
Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Entertainment, well it certainly fulfills the definition of entertainment. " performance or exhibition: something that is produced or performed for an audience " I enjoyed the movie, it was a great meditation on his passion and death. ed Is that the definition of entertainment, what does it mean by produced? I'm sure there are various meanings of the word produced, conjured and fabricated/made up comes to mind for me, if this is what is meant by produced the for the most the movie the passion was neither conjured nor fabricated/made up, it is based on a true story and i think more than based, when i think of based on a true story it brings into my mind thoughts of 25% true story 75% conjured or fabricated/make believe, i think the passion was better than that . Does anyone know exactly what is meant by produced in the context of the definition of entertainment or even just a thought on what it possibly means would be helpful. Jesus iz LORD! ContemporaryCaflicCrusader
It's the ultimate love story. He did that for us. But when we watch the gory horror of it we remember all the things that we just coulda/shoulda/wouldn'ta done had this been close to our minds and our hearts when we made those mistakes. It's not an upper by any means. Doesn't make you feel good about yourself, but regardless He thinks we're all worth it anyways. There are plenty of real sad love stories out there that make money, typically I avoid them like the plague. They are typically chick flicks. But personally I always joked St. Mary The Virgin Mother of God should of been on the list of producers in the credits in this movie. Satan our course countered with His Da Vinci Code two years later, I call it the Dan Brown code lol.
