learned at her second-trimester ultrasound that her fetus, which had inherited her disease, would never be healthy either. She decided her only option was to terminate the pregnancy before her child could suffer as she does.

isn't it a little strange that this woman didn't know that she had a genetic condition until her second-trimester?  the entire story reeks of a make-believe fantasy to create sympathy for the pro-abortion agenda.

i find it hard to believe that this story has any truth.   the woman's name in question is withheld as is the alleged disease that she has suffered with all her life...

pardon my french but i think the whole thing is BS

defending a second-trimester human fetus is a witch hunt? please explain

It's a witch hunt because you're acting like there is some sinister scheme behind this woman's intentions. Although misguided it shouldn't be that hard to understand why she feels the way she does. Try having some compassion chief it will take you farther.

I have a suspicion that her decision to get an abortion had more to do with her boyfriend breaking up with her than concern for the quality of the baby's life.
