r2Dtoo
Your mistake is in thinking they decide based on good legal reasons. They decide based on what will keep them in power. Numbers matter. You're mistake is thinking you can't carefully word a petition just as easily as a survey. Of course numbers matter, but petitions are not what Washington looks at for those. 4588686
You can't fight corruption with a corrupt government. That's like fighting fire with gasoline. You could fight a lot of corruption with strong laws regulating contributions, 501(c)4, and PAC spending. That would make my field a little less financially secure but it'd be a lot better for our country. Edited November 8, 2013 by Hasan
PhuturePriest
You could fight a lot of corruption with strong laws regulating contributions, 501(c)3, and PAC spending. That would make my field a little less financially secure but it'd be a lot better for our country. I hate it when we fight like this. (But I agree the spending contributions are out of control and ridiculous. You don't win a campaign anymore, you buy them.)
Winchester
You're mistake is thinking you can't carefully word a petition just as easily as a survey. Except I don't think that, didn't say it, and didn't imply it. Also: "Your" Edited November 8, 2013 by Winchester
