Lilllabettt
So far tonight I've seen: so far tonight: a baby dressed as a lobster being carried in a pail, twin peas in a pod pushed in a stroller, an elephant, a dalmatian and frankenstein all walking under their own power and on my run 2 kids dressed as hotwheels cars. AnneLine
no one here yet, but there will be hordes. House is decorated, however, two zombie people (one in bath robe because she didn't want to get up... and she has a cup of coffee! and one dressed as a maintenance person with reflective vest. And a lot of battery operated candles. Will look better after dark falls.... and lots of kids start enjoying the fun!
FutureCarmeliteClaire
I saw the cutest little superman ever, and three teen boys dressed in GIANT paper bags with a sombrero, a baseball hat, and a pirate hat on them.
ChristinaTherese
Just walking around campus I've seen Superman, a crazy cat lady, something from Halo (a staff person in the cafeteria who often scans our cards as we enter), Medusa (one of my friends), and some other stuff I didn't recognize. WillT
I've seen a few assorted saints and a superman or two. The best was probably the Charlie Brown ghost, though. My kids were a cotton farmer, Cinderella, a zebra, and a penguin.

AnneLine
We had about 300 kids... and I put up and took down the outside decorations (rules of the homeowner association where we rent, grrrrr.) I am one pooped llama! Got some photos of my decorations.... and wished I could have snapped some of the kids because they were SO CUTE! This year lots more original / homemade costumes, including a very credible Rubik's Cube and one that took me a few minutes to figure out.... furry lump with a face at the top... long unfurry grey section hanging down the front of the costume.... and a rectangular board covering the front of the costume except for the furry part. On the board was the word... VICTOR! and realized there was a giant metal clip & a Styrofoam wedge in orange and yellow... and then my brain put it together. yup, I was giving candy to a giant change-of-life mouse, still secured in its trap. VERY well done. Sheesh! And a whole bunch of gorgeous princesses, 'CARS' drivers, and a few ghools and ninjas... but not a single zombie. Last year there were dozens of 'em coming up out of the lawn....
