CatherineM
I don't think anything bothers our new Pope, except fancy cars and fancy bishops.
Lilllabettt
Catherine M - spiritual bouquets. He doesn't like spiritual bouquets either. My favorite part of this is when the kiddo climbs on his chair. So much cuteness.

AccountDeleted
Does this child have no parents? I mean, it's really cute but if it were my little boy, I would have been a little more involved. But maybe I'm just a little old fashioned. :

It's not like they could have gotten up there to get him. If he were my child, I wouldn't have been concerned because the Pope didn't seem to mind at all. If he minded, I would have made it a priority. However, I can't think of one 20th/21st century Pope who would have been upset about this in the first place. I would, however, be proudfully curious as to how my child escaped me and snuck past the guards undetected. :P

But if I were taking my child to see the Pope, I would certainly have keep a good eye on him, especially if he was the type to wander away usually. Pope Francis doesn't seem affected, but it must have been distracting nonetheless, for him, and for those trying to hear what he was saying. I find the same thing when children are allowed to run wild at Mass or anywhere where one is trying to focus on the speaker. He's very cute- no denying it but I still think it was the parents' responsibility to keep him under control.

But I'm sure all the parents here can give you stories of how their children escaped them, even when they were watching them vigilantly. It only takes looking away for a second for a child to disappear. I was and am still quite the ninja myself.

None of my children would have made it that far! :)
