Friend's Mother Passed Away

A lady I know from Church who is also a CRHP member and EMHC with me has had a very sad occurrence in her family.  Her mother passed away from complications of esophageal cancer last night after a long, difficult battle.  She had surgery to remove the effected part of her esophagus and had chemotherapy.  The treatments weakened her and she never fully regained her strength back.  My friend had been taking the Eucharist home to her after Mass because her mother had not been able to come to Church in several months.  Our CRHP friends and I received word that the mother was on her deathbed.  It lasted less than a week and she passed last night.  My friend lived with her mother and was single so her mother was her life.  Please keep her mother in your prayers - that God admits her into His heavenly kingdom - and that my friend and her family find peace and comfort during this extraordinarily difficult time.  Thank you.
