PhuturePriest
Not country. Genres, like all things, evolve. This isn't country as it was done in 1972. But country in 1972 isn't country as it was done in 1894. This is country as it has evolved over the decades. Like it or not, it's still country, just like what we speak is still English even though English in 804 was pretty much an entirely different language. PhuturePriest
I agree. Still not country. Yes, it is. Just as Nickelback is Rock, even though Nickelback doesn't sound much like Gun's N' Roses, which doesn't sound much like Aerosmith, which doesn't sound much like The Beatles or Elvis, even though they are all under the genre of Rock. Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
get this album bro, Rob Cass and the space cowboys i think the album name is dairyville road but unsure, the band only has one album it is aussie country, you can be the first u.s. country boy to have an australian country album, there are other aussie artists you can blow them away with too, Slim Dusty and John Williamson. Country is country right, there is only one country and it's called the sticks, lol, whether your in the u.s.a, ireland, south africa, australia or south america. P.s. i lived in the sticks for 5 or so years from 21 to about 26.

Nickleback doesn't sound much like those other bands, but they at least have similar elements in their songs. I'm not saying "My Kind of Night" isn't music, or is bad, or that you should be ashamed of yourself for listening to it, but just that it doesn't really share any elements with actual country music. Luke Bryan is known more as pop country, so of course it sounds different and more pop-ish. Josh Groban is pop-opera, which shares no real relation to opera other than actually utilizing a vibrato (A gift people on the radio seem to hate and discard completely for some reason). I'm not sure where I was going with that. It's the morning and I woke up early. I think my main point was Josh Groban is man-crushable.
