Sorry, I got waylaid by RL for a few days myself.

 

My comment about arguments and personal attacks wasn't meant to include the opinions of non-Catholics, except when those are expressed in a condescending or malicious way. I think the "personal attack" rule on PM is good, but I think there are a lot of really negative, mean-spirited, aggressive, sarcastic, etc. posts that are in fact intended as personal attacks but aren't explicit enough for mods to do anything. These turn the "tone" of a lot of threads very hostile even without anyone calling anyone else a "poopoo head" outright.

 

I'm glad, though, to see that this thread has been nothing but friendly—and maybe a little nostalgic. Here, one feels the real community of Phatmass. :-)

 

dUSt: Would you mind to maybe post the stats about visitors to PM? Maybe if we could see the numbers (like in a monthly update?) it would help people to keep in mind that this is not an insular community. It might also make for some really great discussion. I'm sure people would wonder why so many strangers clicked into one thread, or clicked from some other website, etc. Of course, this is only feasible if you can easily create a report through some auto-feature or something. I don't know if that's possible.
