But I'll play, when I feel like playing. An example of why I think that is that of course it would cost more to rent and/or pay officers to put up the barricades and to pay someone to watch and keep people off those properties in many cases. Than to not put them up. And if they are going to be watching the monuments and parks sometimes with more security than normal, why not open them up. Other reason why l'll offer the links anyone can Google later is because I am on my phone and it does not handle copy paste well. So later when I'm at the computer I go to the trouble. It seems that the Cilton Administration was more willing to compromise and allow Vets to run their own memorials. It's too bad the Obama Admin. will not accept volunteers to run the Vets' memorials. The WWII guys probably can't today but other Vets like Vietnam Vets or Gulf War 1 & 2, or any Vet. I have read many states volunteered to run some of the monuments and parks during the shutdown. The Obama Admin. rejected that but it seems their open to having the states pay the Feds to run them. So, and I understand that this might get confusing, when the federal government shuts down, federal properties like the WWII memorials shut down. That's what a federal shut down is. You support the federal shut down. So have the integrity to stand by the consequences of your political decisions. explain to me why if the government shuts down your paying police to erect barriers and stand guard over memorials? that costs money. they should not be doing this. also explain to me what some of these memorials like the WWII memorial are missing out of because of the shut down. its a memorial that is unmanned. no one is normally there. so Obama is paying someone to keep this shut down. he's actually wasting money to erect barriers and have armed guards keep people out. how much sense does that make? government is shut down. people are not getting paid. best solution is to then waste money to pay people to erect barriers and have armed guards in place.
