Kayte Postle
The CMSWR has finally updated their website! The design is beautiful and it still has all the old information, with quite a bit of new information. My favorite part is that they list upcoming vocations retreats with members communities. Go check it out! http://cmswr.org/
Gabriela
Wow, that is SO much better. The former site was pretty ugly. This is really nice! Thanks for posting, Kayte! :-)

DameAgnes
I'm confused. Didn't the old site list contemplative communities as well?
truthfinder
I'm confused. Didn't the old site list contemplative communities as well? No, the CMSWR only has members that are active or semi-contemplative. Contemplative communities belong to different organisation (ie. I don't think there are contemplative communities (or at least many) who are part of the LCWR either).
Kayte Postle
Nope, there are no contemplative communities that are a part of the CMSWR. Are you thinking of the Traditional Women's Religious Orders blog?
AnneLine
I think you might be thinking of the Institute on Religious Life ("IRL") It includes cloistered and non-cloistered communities http://www.religiouslife.com/ "Our Mission The Institute on Religious Life (IRL) promotes and supports the growth, development, and renewal of the consecrated life—particularly vowed religious life—as a gift to the Church and an evangelical witness to the world. We include and engage bishops, clergy, religious, consecrated and lay faithful in a collaborative apostolate of prayer and service, guided by the magisterial teachings and rich heritage of the Church."
