Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
May the grace of our lord and saviour christ jesus be with you. I know that jesus comes to the faithful in the holy eucharist even if the priest is a heretic but is the holy mass valid if there is liturgical abuse, like lets say a priest doing the angelus after the start of mass,i don't know whether that is liturgical abuse but it is something that i have come across recently and definitely isn't a common thing to do after the start of holy mass in my diocese. i was told it comes from some priest named fr gobi, and i have prayerfully read about half of the book to the priests of our lady, i used to read a chapter each time after doing a rosary, and it never struck me as something our lady would say in those revelations granted to fr gobi, it just doesn't sound like her manner of speaking in those prophecies. But anyhow the main question is, ' is the holy mass still valid even if there are liturgical abuses.' and if anyone can clear up this whole angelus thing during holy mass for me that would be nice too. Theoketos
Yes, the validity of the Mass is not in question in most cases. The matter and form are difficult to accidentally screw up.
