Catherine Therese
The Greek word δυναμις is still used in Eastern Christian theology. It is one of four words used to talk about the chain of being within the Godhead. Apotheoun - you've got me absolutely fascinated! But I felt I've more than hijacked Tab'le's thread enough, so here we are in a new thread especially for this.... 1. What are the other three words? 2. What relationship do each of the four words bear one another? 3. "the chain of being within the Godhead" is interesting wording, I'm gathering there is a very specific meaning/theological concept behind that choice of words. Can you please explain? Thanks!! Catherine Therese
So this thread was super-hijacked before it even got going as part of some deranged power-play ( :P ) but I really would love to know more if Apo or anyone else can answer my original question. I'm not as familiar with Eastern Christian theology so new stuff always piques my interest!
