Luigi
There is a song by Enigma called Sadness (they stole much of it from another song). What does the chant of this song come from? The part about "proceed in peace," I'm not sure. Is that the Latin form of "Go in peace?" The part about the doors & gates, and lift up, the King of Glory comes - that's Psalm 24. It's used in the Catholic Church during Advent. But it the chant puts together Biblical verses with non-Biblical ritual language (proceed in peace), then it could be taken from some larger ritual. I know it's not much help, but I've done my bit - the bit about Psalm 24 and Advent.
