Apotheoun
Man to College Pro-Life Group: I want 'a world where all your Churches burn' A video uploaded to YouTube by a pro-life organization appears to show a university student verbally attacking a campus pro-life group on Thursday. Students For Life said in an email that the video, which has garnered a little over 2k views since it was posted Thursday, captures “one of the most disturbing ones our team has yet to take on a college campus.†The 26-second clip appears to show an unidentified student at Indiana University approaching the pro-life college group, allegedly upset with a display they had erected on the campus. “You’re in conflict with the world that I want which is a world where all your churches burn,†the student then tells the group. “And if we are ever strong enough, we are going to stop you.†Watch the video below (Warning: Strong language used): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJbwbOqqGXQ Click here to read the rest of the article
John Ryan
With the exception of the metaphorical sense in which Peter Rollins interprets the words of Buenaventura Durutti, "The only church that illuminates is a burning church," I cannot condone the burning of churches. blazeingstar
I am not for burning down Churches even if people display pictures I would rather not see. Those pictures are disgusting and quite frankly "*&$% up" as the student indicates. They should create the same anger in us. Would I burn down or threaten to burn down churches? No, but I can see how someone would just want to destroy such a true anthesis of life. I have felt since I was a small child that such pictures are only destructive as they violate the dignity of the human. I cannot respect an organization that would say "value life" then take that life they value so much and put it torn apart, bleeding and naked, without it's consent or the consent of its parent, especially when there is any chance a child might see. Not only that but we live in a technological age where scans show us an incredible amount, and computer graphics can generate pictures. There is no reason to violate these young ones further. That, and some of the older photographs came from hospitals where both miscarriages and abortions occurred. Those fetus' could of been someone's much loved and wanted child who died naturally. If you knew that was your sibling who was not aborted but who died and had to be removed would you be waving it around?
Apotheoun
I do not care how disgusting a picture is, I would never say that I was for burning Churches or any other religious buildings because of a picture. The pictures, whether we like to see them or not, show the true horror of abortion, i.e., the murder by dismemberment and burning of a small child in the womb of his mother. It is disgusting, but the picture simply reveals the truth of what is going on. The pictures will disappear when abortion ends. CrossCuT
When he says he wants a world where "All your churches burn" I think he means "You guys are awesome! Keep up the good work!" And then when he says "@#$% You!" as he leaves, I think he means "ROCK ON!"

I actually don't think abortion will stop until people stop acting like hypocrites. Those pictures, I find, are the most hypocritical of all. I find it beyond disrespectful.
