The Bus Station
Realized I can't interact with people effectively anymore. Constant self-directed monologue is intimate enough. I have decided to forever pronounce "fascist" as "face-ist"
Deus te Amat
I've found that forcing yourself to be "normal" in social situations just makes for a lot of heart-ache. In college, I could be comfortable with myself and others because it was a Catholic environment and everyone had the same priorities. Now, in the workplace, I see my coworkers interacting and joking and having fun and going out and drinking and I feel so apart from it. Part of me wants to be "normal" with them, but it doesn't feel like me. There is a side of me that they will never understand, and that is not my problem. Don't give up on the world, dude. Just live your life and be open it its possibilities. You'll never know what will happen. At least, that's what I keep telling myself, b/c watching from the outside smells of elderberries. The Bus Station
Whoa she just got real deep real quick! REAL QUICK. Don't worry this is just a safe, anonymous outlet for me to get stuff out. I have good friends and a firm grip on reality. But I know what you mean - life after Catholic school is constant "oh my goodness (don't blasphemy) why is everyone actin so wack". We're the "normal ones" ;) Edited September 29, 2013 by The Bus Station
