I can tell you right now that, having grown up with computers and heard the tales of the dark ages of all-paper offices, I am deeply grateful that the paper era is finally about to be killed off for good.

YES. Though I am in favor of keeping hard copies of certain documents. Especially when they are shared documents and others have access to the computers, yes I mean you the IT department....
