Gun Rights And Bullying Cops

The issue with this line of thinking is that it reinforces the idea of being dependent on cops. If you're dependent on cops to keep you safe, you'll die. Simply because cops are never around when you need them to be (Not a slam at cops, cities are simply large and it takes a long time for them to get where they need to be when someone calls in). What are you going to do if you go to Wal-Mart and are held up in the back of the parking lot with no cops around and you can't do anything because you've spent your whole life depending on cops? This isn't even including the fact that cops sometimes turn a blind eye when they see something going on, or are in fact sometimes involved with the something going on. Sometimes cops snap and they beat down innocent civilians or do something regrettable like shoot an owner's dog for no reason (I assume you remember that from the news?). You can't rely on the government to save your life. Be independent and learn to save yourself if necessary, and consider it a bonus if law enforcement just happens to be around and does something.

Then go buy a gun.

If local criminals is what your afraid of and not big brother somehow I suggest reading lots of Human Events, Newsmax, Fox News, and the Drudge Report and take the apropriate amount of Prozac to go with it like my dad and yes.  Have a nice arsenal of guns and stuff that never ever gets used, until Big brother DOES come for us and in that case maybe we'll look cool when we get mowed down like sheep.

But that doesn't seem to be what this thread is about.  So I keep my size 14 mens baseball spikes in my car cause I am a terrible shot and wouldn't want to explain to a cop that I have any sort of real weapon in the car.  I too am a black belt and wouldn't want anyone to know about it unless it was absolutely positively necessary.  A 3rd dahn at my old Dojahn who worked for Wells Fargo armored car services, carries a gun for a living, in fact, he got a promotion I heard and that's why he doesn't live around here anymore.  He always used to say, "The average fight last 3 seconds: you wanna win yours in 2 and half."

From what I've found, the only semireputable site covering this story is the blaze. Do we even know who called the police and whether the store owner/manager had anything to do with this? Is that particular store carry friendly? Walmart isn't a public space (it's private), so we have to take all dis into consideration.

The blaze is another good news site agreed.  One of my dads faves.  I guess if the Cops an butthead you say, "See you in court."
