Loome Books organises a "Monastic Work Retreat" in which volunteers will help them move holdings of the library of Blue Cloud Abbey http://www.bluecloud.org/  in South Dakota which closed in 2012.

Free box of books for muscular bibliophiles!  Sad to see how a seller like Loome comes by their stock (through the demise of other organisations) but they are probably doing the monks a service here.  They'll also be ensuring the continued usefulness of the books which is a happy thing.
