Adoration On Solo Guitar

I promise I will try to post more often here.

I wanted to share something with you. I am a middle aged man that plays classical guitar and is a fairly recent convert. For the last 2 years, I have been working on arrangements of sacred melodies. This last Christmas, my wife bought for me a killer pair of recording mics. A few weeks ago, I was given access to a century old stone parish with awesome natural reverb, so I took my mics in there and recorded a bunch of stuff. i have an albums worth of material like this that I am editing and mixing down now. Please tell me what you think:

I think it would ruin the guitar. Unless you were very small.

My wife has often said that I have no sense of humor, so I am probably missing something: What is "it" that would ruin the guitar?

I like your wife.

Oh, I totally thought this was going to be about one of those "musically accompanied" Adoration hours. I was once in a parish in Virginia at Adoration, and out of the blue, some dude started playing the guitar and singing—and everyone seemed to think that was normal.

The Bus Station

Hi KenW, I like your arrangement of Adoration, thank you for sharing it here.  The chord progression of the second verse is especially lovely.  You clearly have some natural feel for the music.  I would certainly be interested to hear more of your recordings.

One of my pastors is strongly urging me to play hours of Adoration. Kind of a microcosm of what Matt Maher did at WYD. I'm all for it, but I would personally want to keep it quiet, laid back and instrumental. If there was any indication that I was disrupting rather than enhancing, it'd be a no go.

Hey, back off, creep. She's HIS wife!

You're projecting. Again.

Have not spent enough time here to know your posting style, but I must ask again, and forgive my naivete: What is "it" that would ruin the guitar?

Mass, I believe.
