AccountDeleted
This is my last post Tab. I don't think endless posts on this topic are necessary - I can see that you need to be serious right now. I need to laugh. The God I love and worship allows for both. Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Also i'm not condemning anyone, i have not said anyone is going to hell for watching a movie. We need to make concerted judgments every day, even with driving a car. Right Judgement as far as i'm aware is a gift given to Christians by God at first holy communion, and we can choose to nurture this gift and grow it, by examining our conscious on many issues and as to whether or not something is contrary to what we believe or not. I truly believe after much examination of my conscience that alot of entertainment is contrary to the truth of faith.
Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Halo Anneline. And this is my last post on the topic also. :) I love Nunsense also Anneline, unsure about myself though, a long way to go for me till i am holy, i must not stop at 10% holy, i must hit the accelerator and get to 100%, whatever that 100% is, which probably has various looks for various people. I just hope Nunsense is not resting on her laurels at 10%. I will pursue the matter no further at present. :) Nunsense says she needs a laugh at the momment, Anneline perhaps you can help her.:) Edited September 16, 2013 by Tab'le Du'Bah-Rye

If you liked entertainment, I would suggest you watch it. It was a cute video. And I am nowhere near 10% yet Tab so can't rest on laurels or anything else :)

Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
How long have you been a christian nunsense ? :) I hope you reach that 10% Holiness and beyond, with Grace.
AnneLine
So you two are gonna leave me talking to myself in here? Well, I'll just have to pray for both of you.... and you know, imperfect as we may be at it, every one of us needs to be as polished as we can make ourselves to better reflect Jesus. Rather like movies can do an OK or an Excellent job... of reflecting His love for us. However... I know I can't do that kind of work on myself--when I am for perfection and keep the eye on myself, I crash & burn every time. It only works when I keep my eye on Him and try to hold myself still long enough for Him to make me presentable.... Nunsense, the problem is, often it just makes me GIGGLE!!! Because He knows all my funny places even more than He knows my ugly ones... and He reminds me to look for Him in both..... and sometimes we just laugh together at silly me... and then I know why I have fallen in love with Him.... Probably longer than you've been alive Tab - I'm old. And I'm not trying to reach any numerical value- I am a sinner and Jesus died for me. That's good enough for me. Only He knows the state of my soul - I'm in good hands. So you two are gonna leave me talking to myself in here? Well, I was going to stop debating the entertainment portion of this thread but you make me laugh AL, and I like that. To show you how funny God is, I posted a simple link to a new movie about Jesus coming out soon so that anyone who wanted to know, would know - but even that somehow ends up serious!! Really, you gotta laugh. :lol2:

Just wondering nunsense. If you don't wan't to share how long you have been a christian for that is ok, it is less important to me than you reaching that 10% and beyond in whatever amount of time the good Lord alots for you, and surely with his grace in time you will excel in holiness in whatever manner of holiness the Lord would have you excel. :) Perhaps in many areas of faith, hope and love. :)

None of can ever know the holiness of another... “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.†1 Sam 16:
