PhuturePriest
thats an interesting strategy. It's proven completely effective, and the diocese isn't broke. This is because all the Catholics in the Diocese pay a percentage of their income to the Diocese to pay for it.
AugustineA
As a young man in grad school, I think we need more young women in grad school. :smile3: Shame on this article!

ChristinaTherese
Yeah, I totally agree. Especially since the Wichita diocese is great and they pay in full for every single year, and there's no debt you have to pay back even if you discern out. I always wondered how on earth they had fifty seminarians until I learned about that. Free seminary = nothing to lose. :hehe2: Ask Fink what he's doing with the education he got in seminary.... ChristinaTherese
Being awesome, that's what. Yeah, but as I recall that degree is doing very little to help.
arfink
Thanks for the compliments. ;) Yeah, don't go to seminary just cuz it's free, you DO have something to lose, it's called 4 years of your life. Only go if you feel called. I did in fact feel called, and I was supposed to be there. If I had just gone because of cheap(er) tuition, I think I'd have wound up even more messed up than I am now. Also, free tuition is not worth the hassle and suffering you'll go through in a seminary if you don't really want to be there. Trust me. ;)

blazeingstar
Most people shouldn't go to college. nah, I totally don't believe that. These days college is what highschool was. I might go so far as to say most people don't need to go away to college and live in a dorm...or most people have no need to spend 4 years of undergrad at a university, but many people really benefit from it. It just has to be a mindful decision not a blazee one.

Anastasia13
I plan to go to Benedictine. Benedictine is NOTORIOUS for everyone getting married right away to a person they were dating in college. So that was my mistake...
