The Good Thief.

Please pray for a friend of mine i met two years and with grace he got off heroin for two years but died on tuesday gone after getting back into it for 1 night. He found it hard to pray and decided he would sing the prayer of the good thief sometimes, he liked the song version of the good thiefs prayer we heard at holy mass once, i find that all so prophetic for he had a pretty good heart in that he loved jesus and he loved others with everything he could muster up, perhaps he found it hard to let jesus love him, though he did try very hard, towards the end of his life the last 6 months he was even going to holy mass twice a week and in the last 3 weeks he was going even 3 times a week. I nick named him 'korah' a few months after meeting him and i met him at a n.a. meeting. Please also read psalm 49 it is a song of the sons of korah, it speaks volumes of who he was and wanted to be. Anyhow a black sheep is not a black sheep unless he wants to be a black sheep, it's the heart of the matter, Korah was indeed a good thief.
