cutenickname
Inebriate is a perfectly good translation of inebria. The metaphor of alcohol lubricated joy for the joy of the Lord Jesus' presence is also a good one and has the benefit of shocking puritans, manichaeans, and all manner of folk who imagine that Christ put on flesh without sanctifying the material and the merry (which is the whole idea of a sacrament btw) etc. Edited September 18, 2020 by cutenickname

fides' Jack
The last bit for this prayer I use is slightly different, and rhymes a bit better: Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. Oh Good Jesus, hear me. Within thy wounds, hide me. Suffer me not to be separated from thee. From the malicious enemy, defend me. At the hour of my death, call me, And bid me come to thee, That with thy saints I may praise thee, Forever and ever, Amen.
