For My Editor

Please keep my editor, Lori, and her family in your prayers. She was laid off today, effective immediately. She happens to be on vacation this week -- they called her at the beach house to let her know. We are especially close -- she is both my professional mentor and my only sister in Christ in the journalism world. 

 

Meanwhile, I remain thankful to God that my job is spared ... but my heart hurts for her. I will be meeting my new "regional editor" in the next few days. I have heard good things, so I am optimistic. Please pray for everyone at my paper as we adjust.
