Anastasia13
anybody floating adrift in the sea of life/having an existential crisis/stuck in life who wants to commiserate and/or have a drink sometime :drunks: I feel like turning to alcohol is a good way to handle this. Anybody . . . Been there, done that. That's why I got so into comedy for a while and no longer identify with mainstream Christian/Protestant culture as strongly. This may help: http://www.wikihow.com/Deal-with-an-Existential-Crisis This is one of the warnings: Don't resort to alcohol or drug abuse to cope with your crisis. Although they might seem to provide momentary relief, these compulsive behaviors will only add to your suffering in the long run and make it considerably more difficult to grow and to improve your life. I am the last person to say you should avoid any avoidance techniques, but don't get lost in them. This crisis is a time for you to make something more solid in your life, a chance to grow and know yourself, your purpose, and your values better. No matter how out to sea you feel, remember that there is a time for everything under heaven and this too will pass.

Deus te Amat
Sad story. You used to be cool, dude. Is that supposed to make me cry on the inside? :smokey: Just to be clear, because this is the lame board and I just realized how you might have interpreted this. I am still completely orthodox, I am in love with Jesus and am completely faithful to His Church. I just think that there is something amiss with putting "radical" in front of my traditionalism. Depends what one means by radical, which is not the term I used in any case. :idontknow:
