the171
I need computer help. The touchpad on my ASUS isn't responding. When I use a USB-connected wireless mouse I can navigate, but not with my touchpad. I've tried rebooting, removing the battery, etc. The touchpad works for a little bit until I enter the desktop tile (I use Windows 8 ). This is frustrating to say the least. GeorgiiMichael
Sounds like a hardware issue. You might have to just switch to using a mouse full time, you immodest trollop. Edited August 23, 2013 by GeorgiiMichael

cmaD2006
maybe it's a driver issue with windows 8? Connect a regular mouse and do some searches online to see if you need to update the driver for the touchpad device.
Winchester
Try not buying an Asus.
TheresaThoma
Hush you about the Asus, they are good machines. I know that there is an option on the Asus to disable the touchpad, make sure that isn't turned on. I haven't used Windows 8 but that could also be an issue. Ima Lurker
My asus is similar, windows 8... the mouse freezes for a couple of seconds and then works again. Frequently. Since it's not my first asus but my first time using windows 8, I figured it was a windows problem...
TheresaThoma
I have heard Windows 8 can have some glitches. I have an ASUS but I'm running Windows 7 and have not experienced this at all.
