For A Friend's Family

Hey Pham,

 

I appreciate prayers for a friend's family.  D. & A. have several wonderful children who are almost all adults now (only the youngest is still in high school).  When I became Catholic, one of them dropped me as a friend like a hot potato.  However, it's that one (now grown) child which is causing them all heartache.  It turns out their eldest son, D.K. has been arrested by the Crimes Against Children Unit for soliciting minors in 4 states online and offering money to at least 2 of them in return for sexual favors.

 

I'm shocked, to be honest.  And I think it'll be a few hours until that shock disappears.  So please, pray for their family in this difficult time and that justice will be done.  Former good friend or not, I desperately hope he's locked away for a long, long, time.
