Narcissism Or Not?

Is It fair to say the closer someone gets to God, the more respect they have for themselves? Or, is it the other way around; that they start to see themselves as worthless because God is so great?  I guess the root of this question is what distinguishes narcissism from acknowledging your self-worth?

Humility is recognizing your greatness that God gave you. Narcissism is recognizing your greatness and attributing it to yourself.

Wow you just schooled me with two sentences...

And it could have been just one, if only Fr CuteFace knew how to use a semicolon.

I normally would have used a semicolon. However, sometimes I just decide "Screw the rules of English" and decide to just use a period. Mostly, I use them, though. I didn't in the first sentence of this because as I'm sure you are aware, you do not use them when the next sentence begins with "however", "but", "though", etc.

Says who?

I can be profound if I want to be. I just choose not to so as to keep my head on the ground. ;)

You wanted to stay humble. I helped.
