Going On Pilgrimage - Prayer Requests

Hello pham,

 

I'll be heading off in the morning (Friday 9th August about 9am GMT) to Lough Derg for a three day retreat. If anyone has watched the 'Catholicism' series you might have some idea of what it's all about. Basically, we fast from midnight, go to the island, take off our shoes and socks and walk barefoot whilst fasting and praying. There's also an all-night vigil, which means once we get up on Friday morning, we won't sleep again until 10pm on Saturday night. The fast continues once we leave on Sunday until midnight.

Yes I do -- for perseverence in light of the resolutions I made during the 30 day exercises.  I'm having a hard time this week (I had a crazy week last week returning to real life due to work).
