dUSt
The man JW, who use to be a Baptist, asked me how I'd like it if I could go to a church that is spread all throughout the earth, that taught the same thing no matter where I went. A church where I could feel at home in every country in the world because it was always the same teaching. I was like, I do. Not only that, but I can go to any mass in the world and know that I am hearing the same Scripture readings that day as everyone else in whole world. He was truly trumped and I really think he learned something new about Catholicism that day--not to mention the fact that I cleared up the misinterpretation of the pope's gay comments for him. Apotheoun
The Jehovah's Witnesses are a bunch of semi-Arian heretics, which is why I would concentrate more on faith in the Holy Trinity. That should get them to stop coming by your house.

CatholicsAreKewl
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that 144,000 people will be admitted to Heaven - these are the holiest poeple who have lived All other people - good, but not among the holiest - will enjoy eternal paradise on Earth. My question to the JW's who come by my house is, "If I wanted to be among the 144,000, why would I go around trying to recruit others? Some of them are bound to be holier to me, and I'll lose my place in Heaven and be remanded to Earth for all eternity. The better ploy is to get yourself into the 144,000 and then shut up about it!" Also, to Dust, when they've come to my house, I tell them, "I am Catholic and I will remain a Catholic. I am not going to covert to Jehovah's Witness. Your time would be better spent talking to someone who is at least open to your ideas." They didn't come back after that. You're missing the point. Each convert = celestial brownie points. Dust, as a new member of their church, can never hope to surpass their level of holiness. He's totally being used. It's actually a good plot. Make as many people as you can be not invincibly ignorant. A human staircase, if you will.
