CrossCuT Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 I understand her concern living in a household that made her uncomfortable, but you really cant go around telling people what to do. Its going to make the situation awkward, uncomfortable, and somewhat hostile if that person isnt receptive to it. She is not their mother and even if she was, these people are adults who can make their own decisions. Yes...in a perfect world we would LOVE to have everyone be perfect angels, but that is not the case. If she is going to take it upon herself to instruct Catholics or non-Catholics to behave more morally, then she needs to prepare herself for some possible reverberation. It stinks that her situation is such that would leave her with less than the best circumstances for finding an appropriate roommate, but you need to take what you can get and hope for the best.
