Predestinate Soul?

When referring to total devotion to Mary, St. Louis DeMontfort speaks about how this is a sign of a predestinate soul. What does he mean by this?

I once heard that by consecrating yourself to Mary, she will ensure that your true vocation, the one God has predestined for you, will be fulfilled. Maybe that's it?

Also, no better way to go to Jesus (and to heaven) than through Mary!

I'm not sure that's true; she might make it easier for you to figure out which would be the vocation that would be easiest for you to get to Heaven, but no matter what state of life we choose, it's a free choice, and we're given graces to fulfill it to the best of our ability.

Yes that's all true.

But still, if we choose to do God's will, instead doing our own will, it will be the best way to go to heaven. And by consecrating yourself to Mary, she helps guide you to fulfill that best vocation that God has for you.
