Will someone please just check in with me. Give me tough advice if I ask for it. I need a pool for me. The few catholic friends I picked up rarely check-in and considering I'm a bloody convert and have no other support I would really appreciate it. Help a fellow Catholic actually reep the benefits of communal grace, won't you?

Welcome to phatmass!  I'm sure you'll meet some people here who would be interested in chatting with you about whatever's on your mind.  You might want to start a topic in Open Mic rather than the Debate Table, though.

Welcome to Phatmass!  As a fellow convert, yeah it can be really hard at times.  It was easier to find folks who shared my beliefs after I moved, than when I first converted; so I know that feeling.  Want me to bump this thread over to Open Mic instead?

Hi there, I'm a convert too, and at first it was difficult because I didn't really know other Catholics, then I got involved in a Catholic group at my university, and then found more friends at a young adult group at my church, and God has brought me Catholic friends through this :) I know it can be lonely sometimes. It's helped me to read about the Saints, and go to Adoration and church more. God bless you :)

Welcome! :welcome:

Share a little about yourself (remembering, of course, that this is the internet!) and I am sure you will have people stopping by to say hello.  Glad to have you!

Another convert here.  Best  suggestion I have is to find something to get involved in at your parish or in your diocese.  I've made some good catholic friends that way.

Phatmass is a awe.some place, too.  Wander around a little bit and you are sure to find an interesting thread or two or ten.
