Basilisa Marie
Have you ever eaten alone in a restaurant before? Once you get the hang of it, it's great. Or go see a movie that you want to see but your friends don't want to by yourself. Or when ordering food, ask what your server's favorite thing on the menu is. Try a new alcoholic beverage. Even better, throw a cocktail party for your friends. :)
MithLuin
Ah, if restaurants are out, go to the produce section of the supermarket and find one random fruit or veggie that you've never tried before. Then look up online how to cook/prepare/eat it. :) [If you have no interesting produce, then hit up the ethnic aisle and see if you can find something new and different. Some ingredient you've never used before, whether it's peanut sauce or alum or fresh cilantro or...well, something.] And yes on the new cocktails! Lemon hides the taste of alcohol really well, so if you're not a fan of whiskey (or whatever) mix it with lemonade.

Even better, throw a cocktail party for your friends. :) Throwing a cocktail party sounds fun, but I don't have money for booze. And I don't really have friends that would come to a cocktail party. I live in the bible belt. Although maybe a BBQ. I'm a badaz griller. 99% of the time I eat, I eat alone. lol. I honestly can't think of a movie I want to see. At least not here. skydive bungee jump spend a weekend camping run a marathon go parasailing go hang gliding I said I was broke. I'd do those thing in a heartbeat if I could afford it. (Except the marathon. While I think it'd be a great thing to do, and I'd like to, there's no way I would be able to by the end of the month. lol) I literally have $4 in my account... You guys only have money spending suggestions. :( I am very broke.

ardillacid
I said I was broke. I don't actually read threads. I just post a reply based off of the title. Isn't there some boy you could flirt with to get him to pay for it all?
Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
ask the owner of the ethnic restaurant to teach you a new word each time your there, and learn it by heart. Your choice of words, i recommend to start with hello and thanks.
Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
aha ok i see no restaurant because of no money. You could ask an ethnic at the bus interchange for there phone number and ask if they can teach you one word a day of there language, whatever language that may be, and say you will text them a word each day and if they could text you back the word in there language. CatherineM
Since you're broke, been there done that, do 25 acts of kindness. Help load groceries in old ladies cars, or moms with strollers. Find a widow who needs their lawn mowed. I did that one for years and loved it. Call a senior help line and offer to drive people to doctor's appointments. They will pay your gas. Call meals on wheels. They always need younger people to ride shotgun to take the food in especially if there are stairs. Call the local league for the blind and offer to walk or bathe seeing eye dogs for someone. I took one to the dog park once. They rarely get to just be regular dogs. Call the local fire station and offer to be a last minute babysitter at night for a fireman or paramedic. That can work into a well paying job. Isn't there some boy you could flirt with to get him to pay for it all? Well, yes, I suppose (though I doubt they have much money either, tbh) but.... the world gets really complicated when you flirt with guys you know... I'm still trying to avoid a couple of guys who thought my flirting was indication of something more (actually, I was REALLY CLEAR MANY TIMES that nothing would ever happen. But then they said stuff like "Well, maybe if we're both single in a couple years, you'll change your mind" [Seriously, I thought people only ever said that in sitcoms and bad Hallmark movies] and continue to try and get me change my mind.) It's almost not worth it. Which is sad. Flirting is fun.

missionseeker
This puppy showed up in my yard today. He's not eating and looks as if he was on an episode of that show about animal rescue people. Idk where he came from. I was about to go somewhere and noticed him UNDER THE TIRE. I couldn't get him to move. I can't afford to get him help. :( I've given him some comfies (old towels) and water (which he DID drink) and food. I hope he makes it.
