Anastasia13
I heard a statistic today on the radio that one in three mothers cannot afford diapers for their babies, and some even reuse diapers because they have to choose between diapers or food. What ever happened to cloth diapers?
Spem in alium
Oh, wow. That's really shocking. I'm not sure how much they cost here, but you would think they should be affordable as they're a fairly important item. My parents used to use cloth nappies [Aussie diapers ;)] when my siblings and I were little. It probably helped with their finances a fair bit. My dad even kept some to use as rags to clean the car (after he cleaned them thoroughly). Seems like a great idea.
MissScripture
Cloth diapers are still around and gaining popularity. They do cost significantly less than disposable in the long term, but they can cost quite a bit initially.
