Maccabeus
I got married Two years ago, and was getting everything done within our budget at the time. Originally I wanted to get an 18K Gold wedding band but ended up with a 10K. Recently I was talking with a friend jeweller about somehow incorporating 18K gold into it; and his recommendation was to have him "melt" it down and add 24K pure gold to it to boost it's gold value to 18K. My question is: If he was to melt my ring would the "Blessing"be dissolved kinda like the Precious in the Fire's of Mordor? cappie
No, but if you want you can have it blessed again. It's like when a church is renovated, there is no need to have it re blessed but I know some places do. In other words the need is not absolute
