CrossCuT
I think my favorite part was when the girl was like "yeah, I just had a baby 3 months ago..." And the dude replied "Well congratlations Im sure he would be...very proud of you...i think" ROFL
BG45
*sigh* Reminds me of when people, 100% serious, signed a petition to ban Dihydrogen Monoxide...also known as water.

GeorgiiMichael
Gotcha! Journalism at it's worst. It disguises something as something else and then laughs at all the stupid people who weren't in on the joke. I don't know about you guys, but when I was walking to and from classes, I would have done just about anything to get some jerk to shut up and let me get to where I needed to be. This "proves" nothing. All it does is allow for ignorant jerks to "justify" their opinions on the people they see as the problem. Did you read some of the comments on that video? They were full of "this new generation is full of idiots" and "this are the uninformed idiots who got Obummer elected". Both statements fail to recognize that these were people who just got stopped by some obnoxious buffoon telling them that they hate women and that what he was getting them to sign for was to fix a great injustice. Sure, they're probably all pro-aborts anyway, but this doesn't prove that pro-aborts are stupid, it proves that college kids don't like getting harassed. Or that they need to learn patience and to think through questions.
GeorgiiMichael
Or that they need to learn patience and to think through questions. When was the last time you were in a rush to get to class on the other side of campus and some jackass started pestering you to sign a petition? Never? Okay, that's what I thought. I bet all of these kids DO think through questions when they've actually got time and aren't being asked "Why do you hate women?" "Do you hate women?" "If you care for women, you'd sign." We've got a lot of time to think through this sitting behind our computer screens without much else distracting us. I hope beyond hope that some of you get put onto one of these types of things in the future and are made to look like idiots. It'd serve you all right. The point is that many people are NOT thinking it through.
GeorgiiMichael
I think you were one of the people in this video and that's why you're so upset about it. Are you accusing me of being pro-abortion? That's a libelous statement and I demand you rescind it immediately. At the same time, how many people are pro-abortion because of the buzz-phrases you quote above? The point is that many people are NOT thinking it through. Many people aren't thinking it through, true, but this video doesn't "prove" that. This video merely shows that the people here are 1) Pro-abortion, and 2) Don't have the time to be stopped by some jerk while they're walking to class. For all we know, they have very thought out reasons for being pro-abortion, and so they hear a few of the buzz words that they're used to, and so they sign because they don't have time to think through what they're hearing. I say again, being ambushed by a loudmouth jerk who's throwing veiled insults at you isn't a good way to get accurate data and doesn't "prove" anything.
