IcePrincessKRS
For the next baby I will be naming her Genevieve Dymphna if she's a girl, or if he's a boy Leo Edward. I also really love Benedict, Damien, Alexander, Aaron, Ignatius, Liam, Luke, Micah, Sebastian, Samuel..... ....Anika, Antonia, Avril, Bianca, Cecilia, Zoe, Chloe, Vivian Keiko (my friend's name and her mom's name, her mom is Japanese), Una, Sofia, Elizaveta or Elspeth/Elsbeth, Francesca, Helen (my grandma's name), Isabel, Lorelei, Margaret (I'd call her Meg), Mena, Sally (my aunt who passed away when I was little, but I can't use it for a first name and I can only use it after my younger sister does, Aunt Sally was her Godmother and she already put first dibs on the name), Portia (for a middle name... can you tell I like the Shakespearian sounding names?), Philomena, Olivia..... IcePrincessKRS
Ophelia, I like. I don't think Matt would let me get away with Balthazar, though... nor will he like some of my other likes, but oh well, I can dream, right? lol
Rebirth flame
Boys: Nathaniel, Micah, Ezra < These are the BEST three names IN THE WORLD.
gotta love nathaniel! (hint hint, wink wink) i loooove the names Anthony, Michael, and John for boys. (not very interesting names, i know, but they're some of my fav, especially Anthony!) for girls, i'd have to side with Margaret, Emily, and Allison. (again, not very interesting, but good names none the less...)

Mickey's_Girl
I've always liked Ophelia (or the French version, "Ophelie" [don't know how to do the accent marks]), but I think it means "snake". Elizabeth is classic and goes well with lots of things. I tend to be anti-trendy when it comes to names, although one of my all-time favorites (Emma) has become quite popular. Jane is uncommon nowadays, but I always think of Jane Austen, and that is a good thought. I also think the whole flower (Violet, Rose, Peony, Poppy) and jewel (Ruby, Pearl, Opal) idea for girls' names is rather nice, and definitely old-fashioned. Jeremy, Stephen, Timothy and Andrew are all great boy names. It often depends on the last name, of course. MG
popestpiusx
Any name of any saint is good.
Have you seen the names of some of the female saints? Some of them are a bit rough. I'm not sure I could do that to my daughter. On the otherhand having St. Ethedreda inceeding for her would be mighty powerful... theculturewarrior
You can't go wrong with names from the New Testament. I like the name Matthew because it reminds me of a painting from the Renaissance called "the Calling of Matthew." I like the name Magdalena because Jesus drove seven demons from her, and I can relate to that. I love the name Dora Alicia, because of the song by Stan Getz. You have to hispanicize the name though, because it doesn't sound right with an American accent.
