Are Brand New Threads Getting Archived?

See Southern California Guy's thread about weatherproofing/fireproofing materials. I can't reply to it because it's been archived, though it was just started today at 3:45 pm.

It is happening to a lot of threads.   One by Nunsense in Transmundane lane as well.

I think the Board is discerning a vocation to the Franciscans --- give EVERYTHING away!!!!!

I guess this is apart of "hosue cleaning" the phorum. I think it is going to get a little funky(like already haven't) until this process is over.

Just created a thread in LB to test whether or not I can archive stuff and it's not a mod option.  It does seem to be happening as soon as a thread is locked though; as I discovered when I locked my Test thread and it told me it was archived. Between that and the fact I've gotten two "fatal error"s in the past twenty minutes, I'm gonna go with the board being funky during the upgrades.

Is funky, yes, but also kind of curious.  Because there is a thread in Open Mic by Barbara Therese that at one point this morning wa archived, and now is NOT archived.  So I dunno....

Maybe I should post construction questions on the lame board?  I'm still trying to figure out what material to use to build the covered area.  I have seen people use vinyl but people also melt vinyl when they barbecue to close to it.  And I want to have both an outdoor barbecue and fireplace.  And the fiber cement siding that I am putting on my house has got me thinking about it.
