Finding Other Catholic Virgins?

That is already assumed by default.  You can find more easily than you can find a virgin.  That's why the topic of this thread was where to find a virgin and not where to find love.  I don't want to be in love with a non-virgin, plain and simple.

As a single guy, I don't think I agree.  True love, I'd believe, would be rarer than virginity.

What is that supposed to mean?

i guess i'm missing the "joke" here. because 1 - I don't know what can of worms you're talking about and 2 - it sounds like you've just said that my parents should've used NFP so I wouldn't have been born. har har, flooping hilarious.

It's a joke - people brought up controversial topics discussed in the past, and I added one that wasn't mentioned - NFP.

That's right, even after forgiveness, the pain can still remain.

I find the notion of "forgiving" someone for a sin they didn't commit against you idiotic.

Virgins are arrogant bastards, it seems.

True love is the greatest ting in the world. Except maybe an MLT--a mutton lettuce and tomato sandwich, when the mutton is nice and crispy...

I DEMAND that my future spouse is white.

Am I the only one who noticed this?

This is sad, bro.

Some can handle it better than others.  If someone can't handle it, he or she can't handle it.  That  doesn't make him/her less of a Catholic/Christian as a result (unless one is being hypocritical about it).  But I've  posted examples, and it was the male moderator who told me that theere  was some tension even in their relationship (when neither were virgins) and also for the virgin male engaged to the virgin female.

What are you going to do when your wife ignores you because, well, who knows why, she just does? What are you going to do when you've been married 10 years and that virgin isn't a virgin anymore, and you're condemned to a lifetime of non-virgin sex with the same non-virgin? What are you going to do when the kids won't shut up and you lose your job and your wife wants to know where the money is? What are you going to do when your wife gets cancer and you're both virgins for the rest of your (young) lives? What are you going to do when your son dies and your wife checks out emotionally for the rest of her life?

You think a woman having sex makes her suspect? There's a lot worse things that can and probably will happen during your marriage. Frankly, if a man can't handle that his wife enjoyed a pleasure in a different life, and he's too delicate to trust a woman who has needs and desires, then I think that man is suspect. I wouldn't trust him to hold the fort down when it all collapses around him. He's better off single and virgin where he can be safe in his idealism.

When you buy a new car, having to go easy on it for the first thousand or so miles kind of sucks. You cant to get in that thing and roar down the freeway, but ya gotta go easy.

No. No, you can't.

I know many, MANY nice, young, Catholic virgins who I don't think I will ever be in love with or consider marrying.

As long as there was no physical action, I am fine with the girl.  Carnal lust is a given in the earlier parts of life.

No. No, it isn't. Lust isn't a given just like premarital sex isn't a given. It's a sin like any other. Sins are willful acts, and are therefore not just something that happens to you.

I saw that too.

The weirdness just keeps right on going on a downnward spiral.

Come on, man, don't evoke the misandrist in me who would gladly bathe in your male, white privileged tears.

Seriously, don't.

I was wondering this too.

Seriously, man? You demand that your wife be WHITE?! Why on earth is that?

To the OP, when you say virgin, are you also implying that she has her hymen intact? If she wasn't born with one, or if it tore during some activity (sports, horseback riding), would you cross her off the list? Just curious to see if you're obsessed with breaking one.
