theculturewarrior
There is a cookbook called "Two Dollar Dinners" What I would do is look it up on amazon to find out tthe author's name, publisher, date of publication, etc, and either buy it on amazon, or obtain it through inter-library loan. Your local library can help you with that. My sister was a chef and she often told me the profit margin was high. Gourmets buy low and sell for several times more. Ash Wednesday
Very simple. Take frozen dinner/chicken/lasagna/entree. Place in microwave. Press "start" ... Otherwise, spaghetti is easy. Boil some water, put the noodles in the boiling water and cook until they are limp but slightly firm (this is what the italians call "al dente") Just get pasta sauce straight out of the jar and heat and serve with it. If you want to, brown some ground beef on medium high in a skillet and add the sauce afterwards. Serve with a simple garden salad (the ready-made lettuce/carrot bags are great) and to balance out the meal, canned peaches and cottage coagulated milk. Or, if all else fails, order pizza. No problemo!
