VeniJesuAmorMi
Praised be Jesus Christ! I received a letter from Revered Mother at a Carmelite Monastery that I was discerning with and she responded to let me know that it had become clear to her that Our Lord wasn't calling me to their Carmel. I am so thankful to know this because now I keep going to find my place. As some here know that I have been in Carmel before and within the past year I have discerned with two other communities in the hope that I would find where I belong, believing that it was in Carmel. However, when I received Mother's letter she said that because of my gifts and temperament that perhaps I should look into another Order and she did mention another contemplative one. I haven't before considered another Order myself but it was time to see what this meant and that maybe it meant another direction. At this time I don't believe that Our Lord wants me in Carmel. What matters is that I find where it is that I can give myself to Him completely and love Him more. I don't consider this a loss for me, but a gain because when we find that we are not meant for something or somewhere then we go forward to find where we are meant to be; who we are meant to be. Reverend Mother did suggest something for me and after looking more into a community I decided to write for more information and I am praying that I will get asked to go for a visit; I may find out within the next 2-3 weeks. I am hopeful about this and my continued journey, and just maybe this will be where I belong. I go forward and I go along with Him. Lets not forget how important it is to thank Him for everything. Please say a prayer for my intention and may God reward you. :)
