My friend called me today to tell me he's been offered (and has accepted) a job in the Philippines for the next five months. He leaves next week. He sounds excited but says it hasn't quite sunk in yet. It's the first time he's really been away from home or his family for such a significant period.

 

Please pray that he has a safe and happy departure. I'll miss him a lot.
